Centralized order handling
The Amdocs solution supports the decomposition of the customer order into several service orders and distributes them for service fulfillment, once the order is submitted. It also manages the customer order level workflow for task handling, including billing notification and assigned product notification. The system manages the order status originating from various service fulfillment systems, as well as future-dated order scenarios. The solution helps SPs “digitalize” the order-to-activation process by connecting, automating and operating the end-to-end flows and environment. Designed for easy integration with multiple systems and applications as part of the ordering process, the approach allows customers and customer care representatives to monitor and track the order at any point in time.
Key functionality includes:
- Customer order decomposition & orchestration breaks down a customer order into corresponding order actions and monitors and orchestrates external service order fulfillment processes
- MACD order handling that is relevant for new activations, as well as Move/Add/Change/Disconnect/Suspend/Resume order requests for existing customers; also handles inflight order amendments and cancellations
- Tracking & monitoring of stuck and faulty orders, including manual and automatic order correction options
- Assigned product repository provides centralized storage for a customer’s assigned product, with full revision history (can be integrated with an existing product inventory master)

- Bulk ordering allows ingestion of order data via file upload or upload UI
