Experience-driven B2B portal

Having become accustomed to the on-demand nature of consumer IT services (e.g. file-sharing, storage, security and more) – and even enterprise services such as cloud computing – enterprise communications administrators are looking for the same level of “instant gratification” from services provided by their SPs. They want to, for example, flex bandwidth up and down in real time based on changing requirements and pay for guaranteed bandwidth or specific security capabilities only when they need them. Enterprises also want SPs to have a “programmable network” that can be tailored on-demand to their unique needs. One such capability is Managed Network-as-a-Service (NaaS), which includes selling flexible and modular cloud-based hosted services and virtualized network capabilities (e.g. SD-WAN, security) that allow enterprises to enable their end-to-end enterprise communications capabilities in whatever manner they see fit. Enabling Managed NaaS sales engagement via self-service channels will be necessary to deliver the required on-demand experience. More importantly, digital engagement will be instrumental to realizing the full promise of Managed NaaS and will also be key to sales acceleration of new 5G business solutions/services based on network slice and edge compute technology.
